It was thorough but in the end we were successful. We didn't have enough copies of one document and they sent us to a print shop to make more.

My Fiancee and her children interviewed together. K1 and K2. I was not present.
Just like an airport, they do not allow you to bring in a bottle of water.
The aircon kept the place very cool.
Interviewer was very nice and professional.
The questions were all very basic.
How did we met?
When was the last time you visited here?
When did we met?
Questions for K2:
Do they like the fiance?
Is he nice?
Will they be ok with their new siblings?
Approved, thank god!

We arrived at the U.S. Embassy, Manila around 1 hour ahead of our appointment time in the morning, with hundreds of various visa candidates and those with them standing outside the entry doors for the visa processing center of the embassy. The lines moved steadily and in time our papers were checked and we entered the initial waiting area inside the embassy. Stan was concerned that he might not be allowed to accompany Roma, but when we got to the initial credentials checker outside the embassy, she quickly figured out Stan was likely an American and asked for my passport for identity, admitting us without any question. After being in the initial waiting area around 1 hour or so, Roma's name/number was called and we entered the main visa processing center area. We progressed through various checkers, who asked straight-forward questions seeking information and various proof documents. There was no question about Stan accompanying Roma through these check-points. We noted perhaps thre... read complete review

Rating is a 4 out of 5 which is pretty good. The only problem is that my fiancee forgot some paperwork at the hotel (good thing she booked right across the street.) All in all there was a lot of waiting to be done. She was one of the first there as she got in right when they opened. She was out by about 6 hours. It was a long day for her but our packet was approved. The CO looked at the packet only briefly as he had reviewed it before she was called up. He asked a few simple questions (Does your Fiancee have kids?, When was he here last?) Said, "looks good" and told her to wait for the Visa in the mail (2go). Interview was on the 25th, CEAC website updated to Issued on the 28th. She will do her CFO seminar in Cebu on the 1st, and I'm hoping to fly her on the 3rd if the Visa is in hand by the 2nd.
