My Fiancee arrived at 6:30am for a 7:30am appt. and it was very crowded already. She had all the required paperwork and a little extra proof of ongoing relationship. I don't know all of the details of each window, but the usual DS-160 and appoitment confirmation, fingerprinting twice, swear in, and then she had a woman CO. Lots of questions about me(Petitioner) date of birth? My Address? When did I divorce? How many times was I married before (once)? My Marital status now? How many children do I have(4)? How many of them live with me(none)? What is my job? How often do we communicate? How many times did I visit? When did I visit? How long did I stay? Where did we go? What did we do? How did we meet? Wanted to see pictures of my visit? Then she approved the Visa!!
I hear a lot of people say they were only asked one question, not the case for us, sounded like a pretty thorough investigation. I give my Fiancee all the credit, she had all the back-up info and new the answer... read complete review

Hi all! I am posting a review here on behalf of my parents who recently had their interview. This review is solely base on my mom's and dad's recollection of events. Anyway, here it goes:
My sister dropped them off at the USEM around 0410. True enough, there was already a large number of people waiting outside the embassy for their interview. I remember mine 10 years ago when I also had my interview at the embassy. They didn't open the gate until 0600. I would say a lot of things had changed since I got interviewed at the embassy. According to my parents, they now segregate people according to their time of interview (I don't remember anything about segregating people before). They told me that someone checks your interview letter and your DS260 confirmation page. I don't think they work for the embassy though. Just people who want to help I guess. I already sent clear instructions to my sister through emails and PMs on Facebook on documents to bring with them at the tim... read complete review

Our K-1 Visa Interview went SUPER smoothly, with verrrrry minimal questioning (probably because we BOTH showed up for the interview (not just the Philippines fiancée)). We lined up waaaay early outside (around 4:30AM and there were already over a hundred people waiting in various lines). They allowed entry into the Embassy complex around 7:30AM. Pleasant and helpful Embassy personnel.
