The entire interview process only took about 4 hours to complete. They only asked a few questions to my fiancée and 4 questions to her daughter. The people at the Embassy were very polite and friendly.

I was lucky to be in Manila when my fiancé had her interview, so we went together. Our appointment was for 7:30. We got in line at 7:15. Ask for the K1 line; if you don’t you’ll wait in a MUCH longer line outside the first checkpoint forever for no reason. We got admitted to the building about 7:45. Then a second line to get one’s processing number (number for place in the que) at 8:15. We then sat in a shaded area with seats outside until about 9:15, when we were admitted to the Embassy building proper. After that it was one long line after another, standing almost all the time.

The interview itself was very short. The big weakness in our application was my multiple divorces. While I had all the divorce documents in order with the I-129, it was checked multiple times. My fiancé and I did not flinch, just told it as it is. This was accepted. Make sure you have all the support evidence in your original application. We have heard the affidavit of sup... read complete review

It was a great interview experience...
At first, i was looking at a specific consul because he kind of looked so serious and very strict and his microphone was the loudest so it was a bit intimidating having all people hear your conversation... while i was on the line, i really prayed that i wont be on his window, but i guess God was trying to be playful and really put me there...

When i got at his window, i greeted him, he greeted me back and asked how i was doing... so i answered him that i'm very excited to have the interview done and hear him say that im visa approved but at the same time im so hungry so i cant wait to go out of the building and eat the foods that i like to celebrate... he laughed a lot and changed his mood right away and the rest of the interview became so light and very easy...

I was very confident that i know everything about my fiance, so i wasnt worried about all the questions he will throw on me. Although i had some probl... read complete review

Except for the rain that poured very heavily the moment we got in front of the US Embassy, our overall experience was wonderful -- very smooth and easy.

Our schedule for interview was at 7:30am and my K2 and I were there just before 7am. There was a long line and whole bunch of ppl outside the building but we just went straight to the shaded "checkpoint" and told them we're for K1 and they accommodated us right away. The moment we got in the building to the time we exited at about 8:30am, everything was fluid. We didn't have to deal with grumpy or stern or serious or unfriendly officer or staff. From data entry, to biometrics, to the preliminary interview with the Filipino officer to the American CO -- they were all cheerful and bubbly and nice and accommodating. It's either because it's still early (they're not tired yet) or we just got so lucky.

From the data entry officer to the American CO, I was almost asked the same questions:
