Hi good morning I have lots of questions I was married to an American man,I got my 10 yr greencard , we been married for over 4 years in the US , our marriage was in good faith and we had a baby , we didn't get along together and he asked for a divorce , do I have to inform the USCIS if we divorce ? I have been a residence for over 4 years , I would like to apply for citizenship , will I be permitted to do that ?or will the divorce meant they will refuse my application in the future ? What is going to happen when(if) I apply for American citizenship in the future ? How many years I can apply American citizenship?will that affect my 10 yr green card? I need help thanks

everything is really fast. just within 3 months i guess. In my interview date, lots of people were denied bcoz of different spellings in their legal papers like birth cert, police clearance, and etc. So please make sure everything is in correct form. But other than that, my experience is awesome. Cant wait to have my visa and passport on hand. javascript:emoticon(' ')

We just completed the interview a few hours ago. Here's the short summary:
We arrived at the Consulate at 5am for a 6:15am interview. The line was already very long but since we had a child, a nice security guard let us be first in line in front of the Embassy. At around 6am, the line moved to front of the Embassy where they ask you to produce the first page of the DS-260 and the first page of the Invitation letter. at 6:10, they let some of us queue in front of the door leading to the X-Ray scanners. Again, this is only because we had a child with us.
HOWEVER, if the petitioner is with you, you can enter the entrance for US Citizens which is a much shorter line.
Once inside the embassy, within 5 minutes, we were at the finger printing window. That was over within 5 minutes. Then onto the pre-screening line and window. The wait was about 15 minutes. A Filipino gent asked a few basic questions. VERY IMPORTANT: if you have a child ... read complete review

My Fianceè had an interview last dec 23rd. She was scheduled for 7:30 and she got there like around 6:15am. The interview went ok except that she got a 221g, she needs to resubmit her nbi clearance with correct aka before they mail her visa, because of these incompetent people from nbi screwed her aka name up!
Anyways, the male CO(fianceè said he didnt even smile) only asked her 6 easy questions, what is her name?, her DOB?, petitioners name?, where does the petitioner live? and what does the petitioner likes to do? Then CO told her to go to window 5 to verify her mailing address and also to get some instructions on what to do on her 221g. She was out usem at about 9:30
