Review Topic: F-2A Visa

Interview: 22/11/2016

Over all experience very good.

Just make sure you bring all required documents as per the list in the P4 or any additional email document request. Just be honest and listen carefully.

When you reach the Embassy inform that you are there for Immigrant Visa Interview they will check your P4, passport and DS260.

Questions are very common, how long have you been together, when was the last time you met, did you know how much your husband's salary and they ask me to tell them when and where was the photo taken. Initially the first Asian interviewer informed me that I may need to submit copies of my husband's passport copy and must be certified by the consul/Philippine Embassy. But thank goodness after the second interview I was informed that they do not need the copy of the passport and that I will be expecting my passport and visa in a couple of weeks.

Interview was quick. Since my fiancé is pregnant, she was in the express lane with the senior citizen (as she stated). Majority of the questions was asked by the Philippine consulate at the embassy. No difficult questions or other documents was asked. Very casual conversation with the US consulate for 5 mins. She came with all documents needed. (3 kilosl worth). Her appointment was 6:45. She arrived at 6:10am. She finished the interview by 8am. Visa approved!

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Hi, I just want to share my interview for K1 visa yesterday (November 23,2016). In the pre-screening, a woman asked me for my DS160, birth certficate, CENOMAR and asked if I brought an evidences of relationship. And then after that is the interview (got nervous) . An American consulate interviewed me. He just asked me a two questions. 1. How and when did you meet? (Of course, I told him all the information he needed.) 2. Does your family like him? (And I said ,YES! ) He did not asked for my evidences. And then after that, I saw him reading in his computer a few minutes. Then he just said: "OK, your visa is approved! Register your delivery address to get your passport. You will get your passport after 2 weeks" I was shocked because I thought he would asked me a lot of questions but I'm so lucky he didn't. And now, I'm waiting for my passport to receive.

Hi VJ members!

Just to share my experience during my visa process. I know a lot of people who shared their experiences have helped me a lot.

My medical at SLEC was great and did it for 2 days. First day, i went through physical exam and vaccines. I got there at before 6am and number is already 50 in line. But all is good when i got the result the next day. They stamped "N" on my passport. Not sure what it means but i assume it was normal then.

During my visa interview, everything went well. Since i brought every pieceof documents that i may be possible to show and i ended up been asked of my passport and his passport, my annulment and my fiancé's divorce paper. The consuls didn't asked for any of our financial papers nor our photos and evidences together. I may just got lucky and blessed. In the final interview, i was asked if how we met and talked more about Hawaii and that's it. The most awaiting part was when the consul in the final ... read complete review

Embassy interviewers are VERY much less than civil towards these ladies when they are alone. I MOST STRONGLY advise ALL U.S. citizen fiancé's to be there with their future brides during this and any other processing.
