It was totally one of the most unforgettable moments of my Life! I had to checked in a nearby hotel because my visa interview appointment was at 6:40 am! I woke up before the alarm,showered,get dressed and headed to the embassy with an empty stomach! Because?who would have felt hungry when youre too anxious to even think about food lol! All i had in mind is how do i get through the hell hole or black hole of security checks and questions that are bound to be asked that day but when you know youre Legit then theres nothing to worry about!well lets see how things panned out!I got there at 6am,the guard outside looked for my appointment letter,2×2 photo,& my passport,then went to another guard to put me in another line,& there are few peopl who got there early already piled up!It was a series of waiting in line but i understand the sacrifice,i mean to be there waiting for your visa interview is already a milestone achievement!i was able to understand what every applicant had to go thr... read complete review

10 Minute quick interview with the Consulate Officer. Really nice white guy. Although pre-screening took 2-3 hours.

My interview schedule was at 7:10AM but didn't get inside for the interview until around 8:00. First interview with Filipino consul went well, he was nice and raised a concern about our case (my petitioner fiance has never lived in the US so no domicile, which he said would be an issue) but he tried his best to include notes in our case file on the computer, noting that my fiance and I will leave for NYC in Sept 30th, and my fiance has school starting on Oct 2.
The interview with the American consul went perfectly fine. My fiance was with me but he just stood behind me while I was interviewed. Consul asked the typical questions about how we met, how long we've been together, he asked about my travels and my US tourist visa (he took it so he can cancel it if I get approved for K1), asked me about my work.
