Process was smooth.
My appt was 0645. Arrived and guard instructed me on forms needed and where to go.
Very smooth process once inside.
Consulate asked me few questions and asked to see photos. After 1st page of photos , Consulate smiled and said thats enough.

I accompanied my Fiancee for her K-1 visa interview in Manila. Everything was done in a very organized and professional manner. We had an appointment time of 6:40 which upon arrival around 6:00 found out this this is a time given for a group of applicants. So getting there early was good. However, it moved smoothly. Some people who had inadvertently brought cellphones were allowed to leave them in a storage area. I was allowed to be with my fiancee at both the pre-screening interview and the final interview. Both were handled in a very professional manner, the interviewers seemed to be very experienced at their job, and the system they had in place seemed to work very well. I was very pleased with the experience, perhaps in large part because the visa was approved.

Our experience at the embassy was smooth and painless. From the time of our appointment, the entire interview process only lasted about 30 minutes. First my wife and I were called to a window, where we presented the original documents and answered a few questions. This process took about 20 minutes. Then we were give back our originals and told to sit and wait to be called for the interview with the CO. My wife was called alone for the interview, which lasted only 4 minutes. She was told she was approved and that they would call her phone when her visa was ready for pickup. Both of the people we interacted with were very friendly and helpful in this process.
