My fiancee's scheduled interview appointment was at 0710. She arrived at the embassy around 0615. I was told that the time she spent falling in line was longer than the interview itself. We were asked how we met, last time we saw each other, et al. We bonded through travel. We met 3x within the past 12months and traveled to 6 different countries. Prior to that, she traveled extensively in South East Asia and in the UK before we met. The consul focused on his questions about her solo travels. At the end of the interview, the consul asked for printed most recent conversations as proof of an ongoing relationship, which we didn't have at the moment. We focused too much on the financial documents and completely neglected the basic ones (chats, call logs, cards). The consul gave her a letter stating that she needs to submit the additional documents, which we did that same day through the 2GO courier, free of charge. Now, our case is currently on ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING.

It was a smooth process, the consul are kind, so comfortable to talk to them, questions are easy as long as you know your fiance's background and your relationship is genuine, just be honest upon answering 💕..

I arrived August 17 in Manila from Cebu a day before the interview. I had to be in line the next day by 5 am. I waited until 6 am and they let us in. Once you're inside there are 2 departments I had to go through before I got my interview. The first once collected my papers and the second took my fingerprints. Then finally I had my interview at around 8 am. The interview was quick. They asked me some questions about my fiance like, the address in the states I was going to, how we met, what line of work he does and within 5 minutes they said I was approved. I then went home and 5 days later I got my passport back with my American visa. They sent it back to me via FedEx by the way so I had to make sure that someone was available to accept the package for me. Then 2 weeks before we left to the US I had to attend a full day seminar in Cebu to get my Commision of Filipinos Overseas Guidance and Counseling Certificate. Hope this helps

I wasn't asked much, confirmation of his divorce, my annulment, if I got any relatives in USA, and CO said I'm approved and wait for 7-10days for the delivery of my passport with visa. Dec. 14 it says on CEAC that it is ISSUED!
