Interview appointment: Dec 11th 7:00 AM
The end result was approval !!!
But there were many questions regarding my divorce. The CO even threw out the word fraud. I believe this was to gauge the reaction of my wife. She knew the details of my divorce and discussed them with the CO. It's good she knew these details and was able to provide them from memory.
The documents reviewed by the CO were the typical ones. They included all of the required and copies of emails and pictures. But the CO did not care to see any of the chat or phone logs.
Thank God this is done...it's a very stressful situation to be in for the Benificaries.

My interview was at 7am on Nov.23ed, there were a lots of people sitting on the bleachers in the front of U.S.embassy. While waiting to get inside the embassy i was observing other people there and the security guards. They were separating the people that had an appointment of 6:30am, 7:00am,8:30am and they check our appointment letter to remind us that if we have a electronic device we couldnt come in. So around 6:00am they started to get us inside the embassy. The first door that I entered, they checked my bag and after that they assist me to goto the right and then i saw the immigrant visa applicant. and one girl assisted us to sit in the blue chairs. The girl told us that we need to prepare our DS forms like 156, 157, 156k. They looked at my appointment letter and told us to wait again a few mins. Then I went to one both there to submit my DS forms and they give me a number that you will use for the whole processing. Went back to sit again and wait for my name to be called for the... read complete review

Hello my fellow VJ's. First of all I would like to say thank you KUDOS for all your help and support you have given me when I was still a babe in this website (I still am) ahihi I really appreciate it very much. If it wasn’t for all of YOU (you know who you are) and this website it would be a hard time for me so thank you from the bottom of my hypothalamus! I've learned and discovered a lot of things here that I never thought I can accomplish. It's better to ask even sometimes you may sound stupid and silly but hey I'd rather be "Makulit" and be ignorant. I can say that, all the interview experiences are exactly the same from what I’ve read here once you're inside the Manila Embassy (though we have different cases and consuls) you won't be scared at all (well, not really!) you will know exactly what's going to happen, what to do, where to go and what to expect. So last Friday Oct. 23rd was my interview and I was in the exact place from where you've been, maybe the one reading this... read complete review

I have written extensively in my blog (http://lieberman.blog.netwright.net:7080/) about our experiences with the Embassy and the call center. While the CIS portion so far as been well done - the Embassy was riddled with problems. From the first Embassy (Air 21 delivered) letter we did not get (and we are not the only one who had this problem), to the matter of what constitutes a valid NBI form - and "fixing" one, to the run-around on picking up our Visa, to continual misinformation from the call-center, to the person (at Window 44) who while acknowledging the approved visa had not been processed - told me in the same breath that the request to expedite, submitted a week earlier and after we were notified the visa was approved, had previously been approved. Everyone was nice - but the system was incompetent.
