Grilled her for over an hour. She knew all of the answers and was very respectful, but it was as if they were trying to trip her up. She told the entire truth but they didn't believe where I work or what my income is. It is easy enough to check. There was no need to treat her that way.

My Husband and I got the NOA1 last march and it has been 5mos now and still we have not received any updates re our petition from the USCIS. I just want to know how long will it takes before we can receive the approval from them. my husband hired an immigration lawyer to file the petition for us coz he's kinda busy at work an they said that maybe we can get the result before end of this year or early next year. is true?
