Hi good morning I have lots of questions I was married to an American man,I got my 10 yr greencard , we been married for over 4 years in the US , our marriage was in good faith and we had a baby , we didn't get along together and he asked for a divorce , do I have to inform the USCIS if we divorce ? I have been a residence for over 4 years , I would like to apply for citizenship , will I be permitted to do that ?or will the divorce meant they will refuse my application in the future ? What is going to happen when(if) I apply for American citizenship in the future ? How many years I can apply American citizenship?will that affect my 10 yr green card? I need help thanks

I was given the yellow slip that says "case of the day"... The American Consul reviewed everything, checking every details of my papers, asking a lot of Q's we took very long in our interview... At the end, he said all papers are fine, all looks good kindly proceed to step 5. Step 5 did not gave me back my passport and did not ask for additional docs so I think passed.Thank God!
