My fiancee's interview was scheduled at 6:40 am. She arrived to the embassy around 6 am and was let in within a few minutes. During the prescreening they asked for her birth certificate, NBI clearance, CENOMAR, passport, and medical results (she did not bring the CD from the hospital since it is not needed). They did not ask for I-134 or my divorce degrees (which she obviously had with her). They did ask her what kind of supporting evidence she
had (she mentioned photos, remittance receipts, bouquet receipts, boarding passes for our travel together) but never asked to show any of these. She was asked some basic questions about me (my name, birthday, my job, which state I live in). She then proceeded to fingerprinting. This was the most nervous part of the interview for her because she needed to do it four times before her prints were accepted, she was letting other people do it and waiting between her failed attempts. She was told that this is because her fingers were too dry an... read complete review

I was being interview last May 23,2017. During my interview the lady ask me how many times did my fiance got married and I answered twice because I was thinking that he had been married twice and that makes me wrong because he had been married just once, then I call the embassy to correct my mistakes then I received an email from U.S embassy and now my case status is now escalated post. What possible to happen with my case? How long escalated post it takes?

Ive always been nervous on this part, but when we get to the window, guess what, It only took us 2 minutes. then we are done.
I was with my Petitioner and his Mom. (Yes. Full support it was. haha). Consular asked us 2 or 3 questions, and I remember, I had to ask My Fiance to answer one question. lol. And the Consular didnt care at all. It went all smooth, I think because of all the documents weve submitted. we made it sure it wasn't too much, or too less.

My fiance had to fly from Mindanao to Manila for her scheduled interview. She had to take a few days off from her work schedule as an elementary school teacher. She did not want to fly there alone, so I purchased a ticket for her and her niece. I also reserved 2 nights in a hotel near the US consulate. They had a relative living in Manila, so the relative met them and showed them around Manila. My fiance does not like Manila, because of the bad reputation for crime.
I was in the USA, so I had to make all the arrangements from here. I sent them some money using Xoom, to pay for taxi and food while in Manila.
The interview went well and she is now living here in California as my wife. We are applying for a green card.javascript:emoticon(' ')
