Consulate worker had information requested at interview but asked for additional time to read due to busy schedule. Con officer said all is good but she wanted to read before approval. 3 weeks later we get 221g requesting passports then submitted them. now status went from admin processing to ready and still waiting for visa. If officer would have read for 5 mins more we could have approval at consulate. Never got a 221G AFTER INTERVIEW

I had a very smooth experience when i did my interview. As a matter of fact my fiance requested to expedite our case in US Embassy( HK) because my working permit in HK. They are very considerate and they called me asap and asked me if i wanted to pick up my packet 3 or wait for them to sent it to me. I chose to pick it up and decided to bring all the necessary documents. After 2 weeks of completing the requirements i had my interview and its quick. maybe because they already had all the documents and verified. Questions are : My name. b-day, Fiance name and b-day, his job, his address, how we met and how long he stayed. She chose 1 photo and asked me to identify the persons in photo and after that she said congratulation i approve your visa.

Instead of the hassle of Metro Manila traffic coming from Rizal, we stayed overnight in Maine City Residences for $20 per night. It was a 15 minute drive from the Embassy. We had an 8:40 AM slot on February 14. We arrived at 8:00 AM, parked on the opposite side of the embassy where a man approached us and asked us Php100 for parking. My fiancée was charged Php 50 the last time she was there at 7:00 AM, but there were no more parking spots in front of Army Navy where she parked before. Since there were no other parking spots elsewhere, we decided to take it. We had a light breakfast at a 7/11 store across the embassy because The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf shop was packed.
At 8:20 AM, we crossed Roxas Blvd to get into the embassy. The guard was already calling slots for 9:00 am. We were met by people whose business was to store electronic devices because they are not allowed inside the embassy. My fiancée mistakenly brought her power bank and earphones with her, instea... read complete review
