arrived about 6 AM finally finished everything by 4:00 PM K1 visa approve K2 denied for my daughter because she has claim to American citizenship that was a whole other process when i went over to ask about it before K1 interview i was told "it could take months to process" but after K1 interviewer told me to go over there they processed it that day. I don't know why they would tell me this other than deter people from walking in and filing for birth of US citizen abroad. also it is really stupid that you must pay for Visa processing for the USA to the bank of the philippines in pesos. they have a cashier on site and i was able to pay for passport processing with DOLLARS right there on the spot. a real weak spot in the system. I am American and I should be able to pay for everything in dollars in MY EMBASSY on the spot if i choose to do so.

The interview was extremely unprofessional. The petitioner was not allowed in the room and the Consular Officer (CO) did not ask questions but instead made judgmental statements, derogatory remarks and disrespectful comments. The interview (if you want to call it that lasted only about nine minutes). The results were that they gave the applicant's passport back with directions to provide evidence of the petitioner's U.S. Domicile (which was already verified by USCIS). The petitioner immediately provided the requested proof but the clerk didn't want to accept it and said come back the next day! The Petitioner TOLD her to take the documents to a supervisor. After some further "games" the Petitioner DEMANDED to see a supervisor and after a talk with the supervisor the domicile issue was supposedly resolved. They took the applicant's passport and said pay the visa fee.
Since then we have been lied to and avoided by the US Embassy Consular Section every time we calle... read complete review
