greetings all,
My Fiance in the Philippines had her interview with the consular on Jan 15th at 7am at the US Embassy in Manila. I have visited her 3 times now since Feb of 08. In Sept of 08 she became impregnanted on my last visit to her.During her interview The Consular was very nice she say and most all our paperwork was great exept they were not content with my I-134 affidafit of support as i did not enter her Sons name on the back as the other person i filed for at USCIS. Even though his name was on the front of form. Also with the baby now they want a new no marriage semenar certificate from here. She is almost 5 months along now and i pray that we can get this all done and have the baby her in US and have our family together. The white paper the Consular give to my Fiance has 2 check marks on it one for the new I-134 from me and one check for the semenar for her. i had my interview June 23, 2008.. sorry this should came earlier but i thought i have posted it already in PI forum,..
i got there at 600 with my mom, they let us in around quarter to 7.. i thought im perfectly ready.. but guess what, i have some things in my DSs that were not filled out.. so i have to sit again and do it before i van get back to line, where i can get the number.. atleast they were consistent coz some of poeple there where filling some dss too.. after 4 hours of waiting i was finally called in the consul to have a very brief 3 -5 minutes interview.. after that she said your vis ais approved just wait to be called in (that's where they gave me back our pictures) then i paid for my delivery..:D yay!

Usembassy put visa interview on hold , cause of missing fiancial support on I-134 Affidavit of Support . ($17,500.00 Anual Income ). Missing amount of $345.31 of fiancial documents . Which i have , but need to resend to to my fiancee . So she can send to usembassy in manila , using currier service . Thank god our visa wasnt denied .

well the interview ended on a strange note my fiance got along great with the consular but when asked our intentions together she told the consular we intended to have a child and raise our family my fiance is also bringing her daughter well because she said this the consular based the income requirement on a 4 person family and said i did not meet the requirements and that i had to show proof of a substainable income or she would have to write a letter stating that she would be willing to work the kicker is the consular told her she would have to convince her she was not just saying she would work to get the visa my fiance will go back jan 2nd with the letter in hand and see what happens
