03/12/09 First interview at 7AM US Embassy, will need to go back
03/30/09 Air21 telegram dated 03/24/09 Interview #2 appointment letter arrives
05/05/09 Second interview at 8AM US Embassy lasts until 3PM: visa DENIED
Anabelle was nervous, unable to eat lunch, in tears and left in a very negative emotional state. I'm assuming by comparing it with previous postings that this was in the FPU. I think her treatment was consistent with what others have experienced there. The consular officer recommended a course of action that could result in the issuance of a spousal visa in the future. It's very important that the beneficiary tell the truth, otherwise even that avenue would be closed. I hope that your wife will not have the unfortunate fate of having to undergo such a trial and interrogation.

The interview was pretty easy, it only took me literally 5 minutes with the Consulate and I'm free!

Denied initially, contested due to lack of income and had decision reversed based on assets. Very strict on income if I wouldn't have flown in for the interview it would have never gone through.
The interview with my wife only lasted a few minutes as the (very rude) lady red flagged the income and didn't look much into our papers. I spoke with top guy and Filipino working behind overheard me and told him to reverse the decision. "It is obvious he has more than enough assets, I want you to reverse this decision immediately" (Thank goodness for him)
