The entire process took about 40 minutes. He arrived, waited 15 minutes, and then they called him up to the first window where the took his fingerprints, asked for his photos/documents, and then was seated again. After 15 more minutes, they called him up to another window for his formal interview where they took his fingerprints (again), and asked him just a handful of simple questions (how did you two meet? tell me about his family? etc.). All of this took, again, just five minutes, and the agent said he was approved!
They said they would contact him again about 1-2 weeks when he visa was ready to pick up.
I should note one thing: we were worried about whether our documents would arrive from the NVC because we already submitted them all BEFORE our expedite request was approved. But they were there and everything went well. My husband said everyone was very nice.

The day of our interview all went smoothly. As reported, you present papers and are interviewed through a window. I accompanied my husband (applicant) for support. He was approved 10/28 however the computer system went down and we had to return the next day to finalize everything. Overall happy with the way our case was handled and the respectful treatment we received.

Very simple interview. They told my husband he was approved and that his visa would be ready in about 10 days.

Our appointment was at 1:00pm on Thursday. I accompanied my fiancée to the interview since I am currently working in Panama. We arrived at the embassy fifteen minutes early, but they wouldn’t let us in right away. They were only letting in one person/group at a time, so we had to wait in the heat, and we were drenched in sweat by the time we got in. There were about 7 or 8 other individuals or pairs of people, there for all types of visas. It appears Thursday is specifically for interviews. So we waited about a half hour until we got called next to last. We were sent to a window to pay the visa fee, and then waited to be called for the interview.
We then got called up to a second window, and this is where we had the interview. The lady was very kind, and the experience was nothing short of pleasant. She started off by giving us back the photos we had sent. And then she asked my fiancée a few questions, like how we met, when we got engaged, whether we currently live ... read complete review
