Husband reached the Embassy at 6:15 AM and waited for the Shuttle, his interview was at 7:00 AM. He had a binder with him of documents and proof because we wanted to make sure he has everything in case he was asked for it. He submitted his passport at the first counter, they took his finerprints and photos, then submitted Nikkah Nama (Marriage certificate) at a different window. He waited until he was called. The consular did not ask him for any document or evidence, the consular took out the pictures sent at USCIS level and asked where it was taken and my hubby said it was taken in Murree, Pakistan. The consular then gave him back all pictures sent at USCIS level, did not ask for any single document. These are the questions he was asked.

My Interview was scheduled on 20 April, but unfortunately Chinese President had to visit Pakistan. So, the embassy was closed that day and they did not allow us to enter the embassy. Does anyone has an idea that how long embassy takes to reschedule the interview?

Salam/Peace to everyone on VJ. Praise God our Interview went well and the Visa was approved and issued. Thanks everyone here on VJ for sharing your experiences and Journey. I hope that this summary of our interview will help others as well. I am the petitioner and attended the interview with my husband.
We arrived at the Shuttle station at 6:15am, our appointment was at 7am. I recommend getting there even earlier. There are a lot of people at all locations and lines are long. So arrive atleast 1 hour or more before the appointment time. We finally arrived at the first embassy waiting room at 7:15am.
First waiting room took about 20 minutes before my husband was called up. He was taken to a room. I had no idea what was going on and wasn't allowed it. It actually was just for biometrics. They took his finger prints.
About 20 minutes after that our number was called for the next waiting room where they initially took our documents that were lis... read complete review

My fiancée's interview went quite smoothly. After waiting almost two hours, a female interviewer called him in. They asked him the usual questions:
What is your fiancée's name?
Where does she live?
What are her parents' names?
What does she do?
Then they got more specific:
Did she live here?
Did she work at the Embassy?
What did she do?
Why didn't you get married while she was here?
When will you get married?
They didn't check his proof of relationship and said he was approved!
He did say that many people that he had watched while he was waiting were denied because they got angry, or aggressive with the Consulate workers, they didn't have their paperwork, or they answered a question or two wrong and the questions just got harder from there.
He said that the Consular workers were all respectful and nice and that it was a very good experience for h... read complete review

Fiance got into the embassy around 7. Was only asked when I entered the US, what visa I *the petitioner) entered the country on and what I'm studying. The American CO was very nice and approved the visa around 10 am. Fiance was out in about 5 hours.
