We got to the embassy stop slightly before 6 am, they open the doors at 6 am
Passed through security and got online for shuttle tickets
There is a separate line for women, so if you are a woman or your female petitioner is with you it is faster to stand in the women's line for tickets
it is 200 rs per shuttle ticket
We were on the first shuttle to the embassy
once inside the embassy we were given a token number and papers on the courier service and on domestic violence
We were called up to the windows 3 times
1st they took our pictures and did fingerprints
2nd time they took our original documents and asked when we were married and if he wanted the interview in English or Urdu, he selected English
also, they had lost the pictures we had given when they took fingerprints, luckily I had brought 2 spare pictures just in case, so as a tip ALWAYS bring a couple extra pictures just in case
3rd time was the interview

K1 Visa Approval Experience from Islamabad Embassy.
Reached Shuttle Service: 5:45 (It was a rainy day)
Shuttle ticket office opened: 7:00
Boarded bus to Embassy: 7:15
There are 2 checkpoints before you enter the main embassy building.
In the embassy:
First the will give you a token number. First your number will be called for fingerprints then for Medical submission. In my case I was called third time for k1 visa fees submission. They call numbers randomly for interview. I was the first one to enter embassy that morning but was called for interview quite late. While giving fingerprints and submitting medical I saw my case folder through the window. My folder had AP written on top of it. I was sure that the interview will be just a formality and that they have already decided to put me on AP.
I was called for the interview in a while.
The officer took the oath from me and asked me to put my fingers... read complete review

I had my interview today and I must say it was a smooth one Alhamdullilah by the grace and mercy of Allah.and offcourse my fellow vJers were a great help too. My visa got approved
I reached the DSS station at 6 .there were long queues and they did not start their service until almost 7 a.m . I took the ticket and boarded the bus .The fees is 200 Ruppes for a round trip.I reached the embassy at 7 35 a.m. Its a good 15 min drive.
They check for your interview letters at the entrance queue and also if you have you medical report with you. After you pass through the security check ins,The guy at the entrance door takes your interview letter and gives you your token tag and then you wait for your turns at the booth .
I was called to the windows 3 times in total. First time was to submit my picture and take my fingerprints ( GIRLS DO NOT GO WITH MEHNDI ON ,please they are going to send you back home if you have mehndi on your hands) .

I had my interview today and got approved Alhamdulilah
I must say without the help of fellow Vjers it wasn't an easy ride.
My interview time was 07:00 am but it's always good to be there before time as there are long queues. Main gate opens at 6 am and after checking my ID card I was allowed to enter.
Before you enter the main hall to get the tickets for Diplomatic Shuttle Service (DSS) you go through metal detectors and security/passport check.
Embassies don't allow bags and mobile phones so I deposited my belongings in the lockers provided at the reception area. Make sure to keep the receipt safe.
There was a long queue for the tickets and after paying for my ticket I went through Security (Body Check Booth) to enter into the waiting area for DSS.
Shuttle ride is approx 10 mins and at the Embassy entrance my passport and interview letter was checked and then I went through metal detectors/Security t... read complete review

It is a lengthy procedure getting to the shuttle, to embassy and going through the initial counters for submission of original documents like i134, birth certificate etc, then to pay the visa fee. After that I was called in for oath and bio-metrics and then the interview started. CO asked me around 5 or 6 questions as follows:
Q) How long have you known you fiance?
A) Since 2001, we were online friends
Q) When did you meet him in person?
A) I met him in 2014
Q) When was the last time you met him?
A) That's the only time I met him in person, first and last for 2 weeks in UK.
Q) What's the longest you have ever stayed in UK?
A) Around 4 months
Q) What does your fiance do for a living?
A) I answered that.
Q) Why do you want to... read complete review
