Get to the bus station on time and get in line for a ticket. Generally think of 1 hour as a good window to get on the bus. They will check you 2 times before you get on the bus and the embassy guards check you thrice. They will ask for your appointment letter then give you a token number. Take a seat, enjoy the wait until you are called the first time for submission of photographs and fingerprinting. They will send you back to the seat and call you again for submission of original documents (Birth certificate, Nikah Nama, etc). They don't want the police clearance certificate as they have stated it on the website. Then you will be called a third time for the interview. You'll have to take the oath then answer a bunch of questions after which they'll tell you what their decision is. In my case the questions were straightforward and nothing out of the ordinary was asked. If you have prepared a strong case and sent strong evidence it will be a breeze otherwise they'll give you a hard tim... read complete review

friends here is the experience of the interview .
my wife reached at visa shuttle service at 5am . gates open at 6am.she was number 4 at the female counter for token to get in to shuttle to embassy . she waiting in the shuttle area for the bus and soon the bus arrived. try to get earliest token from the counter if your interview time is 7am . it really speed up your complete process. after getting off at embassy . you have to show your passport and interview letter to the first check post . and pass thru security scan . once cleared you will be sitting in waiting area . then they will call you for the biometrics. make sure you have your passport and passport size photographs in hand and also your nikah nama and true translation. once done with the biometrics u will be required to provide 2 phone numbers for courier service to call you once ur visa arrives in ur city . after this you have to wait for the interview . remember if you chose to give interview in urdu you will be in... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Hi guys!!

So my visa was approved on November 5th Alhamdulillah . The whole process was quite smooth and easy for me. I traveled to Islamabad from Karachi with my parents and stayed at New Orchard guest house that is just 10-15 minutes away from the consulate. So on the day of interview, I reached the consulate at 5:45 and waited outside for the gates to open. They opened the main gate a little after 6 am and checked passports/ID cards before letting anyone in. After that, I got into the line for getting shuttle ticket which is of Rs.200. They started giving tickets at around 7 pm. I submitted my phone at the very last counter on the right and went through the security check for shuttle service. I would advice you guys to sit in the front lines to get the first few seats in the bus.

The shuttle took us to the embassy which is a 7-10 minute drive. Again, we went through minor security checks.

After finally getting into the... read complete review
