We decided that it would be best, so the Co's at the embassy to have no doubt about our seriousness, for me to attend Ayo's interview, knowing that I wouldn't be allowed in, but he would bring in with him, proof that I was directly outside waiting.
We planned the visit from the 17th til the 25th so to give enough time for him to receive the visa, but not so much as to waste time waiting for our trip back, or waste money that we are very short on.
It was soo very wonderful to hold my Fiance again, I had such a hard time holding my emotions in check in public. 1 year, 9 months and 6 days is Far far far to long to be apart from your love.
Ahem, back on subject...
we arranged transportation to the embassy with a cabby he knows personally who would take us there, and wait with us, so I had a secure place to wait, and we brought our brother Seyi with us also for security.
We left the house at 4am planning to beat any trafic, the last thing you want is to ... read complete review

My Husbands review of his interview day.
Interview day April 29th, 2016, 7:00am
Well we left hotel about 6am we were just about 15 minutes drive away. Got to embassy and saw the line. I think they say the queue. About 100 people taking up 3 rows.
I got my binder/folder and 2 albums and my wife had all our stuff and stood under the tree. It was getting ready to rain.
At about 6:46am I was let in the security building (not the embassy we are across the street from there). I guess this is what you call the processing center.
Bags checked. Bodies scanned and then I presented my interview letter.
We were then taken across the street to the Embassy (it started pouring ran. My poor Nkem).
Once inside the embassy bags and books and thing are put on the scanner and we walk through metal detector machine. I make it beep. Oh Lord I think. I have to take off belt and shoes (which took me some working to ... read complete review

Hubby had his interview on Friday and was approved!!! Praise God! Below is his account of how the interview went for him.
He was the first person in line and went through all the security check. They called him in and gave him a tag with a number on it. He met a lady at the entrance to get into the interview hall, she told him to press B on the machine and cut the tag that will come out from it. Then he got into the Hall. He sat and waited about 30 minutes then they called his name. He went to a woman who asked for his passport and 2 passport photographs and his medical results. Then she said I should go back and sit until they call him. After about another 20 minutes he saw hi tag number showing on the screen so he went to the interviewer, he was a Chinese guy. He told him to raise his right hand and make an oath that he will tell the truth today and then he took his fingerprints. Then the interview began. Here are the questions he remembers being asked: ... read complete review

I graduated in 2007 and my job filed for me. It took 5 years for my priority date to become current. In 2013 March, I got married to my husband and filed 1-824. My priority became current and my green card approved. Then the I-824 was approved in July and finally sent to NVC. NVC finished in November and was sent to Lagos consulate. My husband went to the embassy last week and below the interview questions;
who filed for you: my wife
What is her name: stated
How long have you known her: since 2011 but became close to her in 2012
How do you comunicate: phone call and here is the evidence
What does she do for a living: Registered nurse
I see you both are not afraid of heights in this picture: NO we are not. by the way that was our honeymoon riding a camel in Dubai
Well pick up your passport from this location in 10 days
