Hello Everyone,
I never write here I just read all of the encouraging information that is shared. Right now, though, I am in desperate need of some help. My fiance has an interview soon and we are just trying to round up all of the information right now. The Lagos Consulate ask me to fill a I-864 form along with the I-134. My mom will be my joint sponsor, but on all of her Tax records she has filed "head of household" but she is married. Since she files "head of household" on her taxes should her husband do a form too? It doesn't say she is married anywhere on her 1040 form. I'm sorry it's just that I really do not want her husband in my business he is one of those types of people that will manipulate me about it and hold it over my head forever!! I would rather keep him out of it. Also does your joint sponsor have to live in your household in order to do the I-864 or can it be someone that doesn't live in your household? My Aunt says she doesn't mind being a Joint Spons... read complete review

My husband went for interview today. He was not denied, but also not approved or put into AP. Odd situation. They asked where I worked and where he would be living and asked for pictures. They said everything looked good. However, we now need a co-sponsor. I was not told earlier there was a problem with that. I thought everything was good with the finances. They asked him to resubmit the AOS but bring it to a location in Lagos, and then they will give the visa. I'm a little confused about it but thankful it will be complete soon.

My husband had his interview on October 15, 2015. They asked the standard questions. I flew there and waited outside on the US embassy side. We were there for about 6 hours. He stated that they asked him the normal questions, how did we meet, looked at pictures and the binder I brought with me to give him to take in. He said the interview only took about 10 minutes and we were approved.

Only had one interview and it went well.
Same question as they ask most on here, so not going to repeat them. My interview was one of the last people of the day (I noticed alot of denials, etc around me with other people during this time) The consulate officer appeared "new", she was confused and kept going back to supervisor. She ended up placing me in administrative processing, but told me it should not be long. My wife immediately wrote congressman, who, with a reminder, sent an email asking for follow-up on case. In fourth month, our congressman wrote his letter, we got a response from consulate general, next day we received approval letter, no additional interview. We thank God for this and pray each of you in the process are together soon as we are. Keep your faith. (When going through port of entry at the airport I gave my packet to the officer.....it was very big with all the front loading, side loading and documents.... the officer told my husband... This is t... read complete review
