Tips:
- Arrive early. No matter how early you get there, there will still be at least eight people already there!
- If you can get away with going without electronics or bags, do so. You might lose your hard-earned place in line if you need to secure your things in a rented locker.
- Bring an umbrella in case it rains
- Have your documents organized and ready to go when they ask for them.
- Review the questions in these reviews and go over them with your spouse.
Questions:
How did you meet your wife?
When did you guys start dating?
When did you guys get engaged?
When did you guys get married?
How many times did you guys see each other in person?
Can I see wedding pictures?
Oh, you had more than one ceremony?
Approved!

3 consular officers were assinged to immigrants, the much talked about Asian American Guy,the Africa American lady and a white guy.
I was number1,was called first and interviewed by the white guy at 7:36am(GMT+1). The whole interview was less than 10mins and was out of the embassy by 7:47am.
Here are the particulars;
1. You are going to the US to join your husband?
2.You have been here before?
3. How long has your husband been in the US?
4. How long have you been married to him?
5. What are his hobbies?
6. How many times has he visited you?
7.What type of wedding did you both have?
8. What does he do in the US?
9. What did you both do when he visited last? This question made him go further from my response. One of the things i told him was that my husband always cooked ... read complete review

The interview went very well. Arrived at past 6 (my interview was scheduled for 7am) and were asked to for 2 lines (immigrant & non-immigrant). The security asked us to open our medical results before we got inside the embassy. We were allowed inside in groups of 5 and taken to the waiting room. We sat down and were asked for our passports, appointment letter and ds 160 confirmation page. And them we were given numbers. After that they took us across the street where the interview room is.
When u get in there they do an initial screening to collect the necessary documents from you as well as your passport. Then u wait to be called for interview according to your numbers. Be prepared to do a lot of standing. I arrived so early but my interview actually took place around 10:30 am or so.
I was only asked a few questions by the male CO.Â
1. How did i meet my fiance?
2. When did we start dating officially?
3. Have... read complete review

My fiance said the whole thing was very smooth and lasted about 3 minutes. The only thing the CO asked to see were the pictures from my last visit. He asked about my previous marriage and my child and what state I lived in. That was just about it. YAY!!! visa granted and the stress is over
