Had my appointment for 8.30am on 3rd February 2020
Got to the consulate at 7:30am
Wait time was pretty long but the CGI staffs provided all applicant guide on when to join the cue based on appointment time, special consideration for the old/ elderly and women and children
Please dont carry your phones,smart watches and sharp objects as they wont be allowed.
There are touts outside trying to hustle you..ensure you follow every requirement on the checklist and dont mind them when they suggest for you to bring or staple any thing. Simply follow the checklist.
Eventually got in documents checked for completion, original and required copies collected at about 12.24pm
Got called by consular officer by 1pm
I was asked below questions of course under oath
Who filled for you?
How long have you known her?
Do you have any photos?
Who are these persons in the marriage picture
Did your parents come? If not why?

My appointment was for 7:30, got to the embassy at 6am, joined the queue and finally got in at about 8:30am.
got attended to at 10;20am. Was interviewed by a white dude. He asked
Who is petitioning for you?
Her name?
Where does she work?
How did you meet?
how do you guys communicate?
Where does she stay?
How many siblings does she have? Have you met them?
How many times has she visited?
Where does she stay when she gets her?
Said he'll be giving me a visa, and that was it. Entire interview was like 5 minutes, and he didn't ask to see any documents.
