There was no Justifiable reason why i was placed on Administrative Processing.
My Interview went well, all questions were answered and i had all relevant documents.
I suppose my case was deliberately abandoned and after the stipulated 90-120 days, i flooded there inbox with petitions and a possible Mandamus to follow if i didn't get a reply.
My protest worked because after 2 days i was asked to just mail in my document for VISA issuance.

The interview went rather well. I was able to answer all questions and provide the requested information.
However, i did had not realized that my birth certificate needed to be backed up by a supplementary document (a birth attestation issued by the National population commission) for the interview (it had not been flagged at any step of the process and i had not come across the information anywhere before the date of the interview).

He also gave me a document request form to be submitted along with my passport and the birth attestation.
He told me that i would need my birth attestation document and where to get it. that i was to submit it with my passport (he emphasized this part as he returned my passport to me) and that my visa woul... read complete review

I want to say a big thank you to everyone, who directly and indirectly contributed to this first hurdle of my journey. For those who update and share their experiences, thank you. And I thank God for his mercy, grace and favour, because without him, nothing could have been done. I was highly favoured on that day.
My interview was originally stated for the 4th of March, 2020 by NVC/ Consulate. But on Monday morning, on the 2nd of March 2020, I got a call from the Lagos Embassy, that my interview has been moved to the 3rd of March,2020. Seriously, I panicked. I asked the man, if something is going on and why me. He explained they have alot of people scheduled for the 4th of March, hence the call to reschedule others. Although, he assured me, everything was fine and that immigrants visa were being issued. I came back to the VJ group and announced even though few people didn't believe it and some others came out as negative. I guess most people would anyway.ðŸ˜
