The process was very smooth.
You leave your wallet, phone outside.
Once you get inside a person helps you take out important documents.
You get your biometrics.
Make sure that you have your documents organized and labelled. This makes the process smoother. The consular also told me that he appreciated that we did that.
You wait, and are called to a booth.
My interview lasted 5 min.
The man was very sweet, and talked to me in a manner that made me feel like it was a conversation.
He asked where my fiance lived, where she lived before that address, where and when we met, and about our marriage plans. He also asked me if we intend to have my parents over to the wedding.
This might not apply to everyone, but they didn't check my I-134. My fiance and I have been together for 5 years. She has been doing a lot of back and forth, so maybe he thought that was indicative of financial support? I don't know.

I'm writing this on my husband's behalf. He had his interview on October 20th and was approved for the visa!
Overall the process took around 2 hours. The actual interview was fairly brief. They asked him questions about me and where I live. They also asked him questions about my family and how they came to be permanent residents in the US. They also brought up the times we met and went on vacation together.
They gave him a card at the end and it had information on how to obtain his visa and register online.
Very relieved and happy that the whole interview process went smoothly.

The interview was really simple. I was asked some general questions like what my husband does, where does he live, when did he visit me, if we went on any trips, if I have met his family, where his family lives, if I have any family other than him in the US. And that's it, she gave me a card that says how to collect my passport and said I was approved.
I was freaking out about the interview, I had one whole day of meltdown before the interview. But it went so smooth. As many people say, interview is the easiest part of the whole process.
The CO was very nice. She made it seem like a conversation rather than interview or interrogation.

THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.
THE CO ASKED ABOUT 5 QUESTIONS. WHO LIVES IN USA? HOW LONG DO YOU GUYS KNOW EACH OTHER? WHERE DO YOUR IN-LAWS LIVES AT? ASKED IF I HAVE ALL THE PROOF OF MARRIAGE BUT DID NOT BOTHERED TO LOOK AT ANY OF THE DOCUMENTS.
AT THE END, HE SAID HAPPY NEW YEAR AND CONGRATULATIONS, IN FEW DAYS AFTER THE HOLIDAYS YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INFORMATION ON HOW TO PICK UP YOUR PASSPORT. THAT WAS IT, INTERVIEW WENT NICE AND SMOOTH.
