Hi to all VisaJourney Members,
I had my interview last week and it went very well for many reasons:
First one was due to the fact that I spoke a not too bad english. Secondly, I answered the questions with confidence showing the CONSULAR OFFICER the truthfulness and the deepest intensity of my relation with my fiancee. Thirdly, I presented a wide and classified range of proofs. Those 3 factors drove to the success of the "exam". Finally, I had the chance to have a very kind interviewer. At the end of the interview, the CO Officer said: "congratulations, you have been approved!". She gave me back my passport and asked me to wait a call within a week as soon as my AP (administrative procedure) is done. A week later, i received a call and went the next day to give my passport. I received my visa the day after. She kept her word, I was impressed!
For my part, i give a 5 stars to this Consulate!
Want to finish with an endless thanks to ALLAH...

Hi Everyone,
I am so sad to hear that some of you have been having really bad experiences at Casablanca. Simo had his interview today (October 15, 2008) and he actually had a very positive experience overall. Interview scheduled for 9am, he arrived at 8:30, went in and waited. He didn't actually get called until 11am, but he said that it was kind of like a 'bank teller' situation, in that you just go stand in front of a window and talk -- he said that you could hear other people as well. So he had time to hear a lot of people go in front of him and get used to the questions. He said that one guy in front of him had a bad experience, the lady was mean to him and wouldn't tell him how long he might have to wait.
But, overall, his went well. So, here is what happened, the lady (who had previously been mean to another person) called him, and just said Hi, do you speak English, he said, "Of course" (he does speak English really well). He said that makes a differe... read complete review

It truly amazes me that the U.S. can instill two females at the U.S. Consulate in Casablanca that have a total disregard for humanity and a disrespect for the people and country they are living in!
My husband was interviewed by the younger woman with dark hair, yellowish or white skin and glasses. He said that you disliked her immediately because you could feel how much she hated you.
She asked him if he was aware he was marrying a very poor woman and how was I going to support him! She refused to take into consideration that I receive my home, utilities and phone for free...per the USCIS guidelines that IS to be taken into consideration. She also kept trying to factor in my 2 eldest children in the household count, even though they are both on their own.
She asked him 4 different times why he "liked" me! He kept reiterating that he loved me and the reasons why.
She then took all our emails, chats, lette... read complete review

I traveled to Morocco and Youssef's interview was scheduled while I was there. We went to Casablanca the morning of the interview, and waited. He was permitted to enter and I waited across the street in a cafe. At lunch he came out and had not had his interview yet. He went back at 1pm and had his interview about 1 hr later. It was brief, with questions about how we met, his relationship with my infant son, how many times I had visited him, how his family felt about me etc. She looked through our photos. My husband did the interview in English even though his English was far from perfect. She then told him he had been approved. She kept his passport and told him to return the next day after 1pm. We were in shock as we hadn't heard of cases coming out of Casa that fast. We stayed overnight and the next day went, picked up his passport with visa.
