Well my baby has his interview on the 23rd of January and he received a blue slip 221 g for more pictures and affidavit of support even though he had it with him on the day of the interview.

We did the medical on Monday 21st and it took forever only because he couldn't urinate hehe. He said he felt awkward because there was this guy looking at him. He went at 5 a.m and there was about 25 people in line already! He got out at 11 a.m

The Asc was on Tuesday 22nd at 1:30 but there was barely any people so they let him in at 12:40. Easy process took less then 10 mintues. Only he went in though me and my dad waited outside for him

The interview was at 7:15 on Wednesday we went to waiting area at 6 and he was in by 6:30. When he was there he said that there was so many interview windows and he got more nervous. They just asked him how we met? How many times weve seen each other? What I do in the usa? If he we had a religious cer... read complete review

Our Visa Journey Consulate Review

First of all, thank you to visajourney.com and this community…

This review is well overdue, and I apologize in advance for not writing one sooner. I hope our experience will help others reach their goals.

I am the US Petitioner (Husband) for Mexican Beneficiary (Wife and Step-daughter)

We started our journey almost one year ago on January 17th, 2012.

Interview Date:
My wife and stepdaughter’s appointment at the consulate in Cd. Juarez on August 17th. They arrived several days early on the 12th so that my step-daughter could have enough time to complete her medical exam since see had to have a TB test.

Medical Exam:
On Monday, August 13th they arrived at the Clinica Medica Internacional around 5:25 but were told that it was full and were instructed to go to the Servicios Medicos clinic next to the other clinic. They asked for my wife’s DS-260... read complete review

Everthing went well my fiance answered all the questions tha he needed to answer when he was asked by the officer (lady). But at the end she asked him for my LONG BIRTH CERTIFICATE which I have never had in my life I've always had a short one with not alot information. But she wanted to see that LONG one with all the information on it. So she told my fiance that she could not help him anymore that I needed to send it in and that he (fiance) would be getting the finale word through DHL in Mexico. My fiance was so upset, but what can we do about it but just wait. Well to cut it short that day he called me to let me know all this I drove to Austin to pick it up or else I would have to have wait 6 to 8 weeks for Austin to mail it to me. I mailed it right off to Ciudad Juarez the next day, I just hope this is our final bumpy road to our JOURNEY, It's so hard to be with out each other. We miss each other so much.

This is Mary writing - Roberto wants to submit a full review & we\'ll try to do that soon. I can say that Roberto found the process easy and he had no trouble. I was not with him in Juarez, he went through the process by himself. He does have some tips for people going through Juarez, but he had no problems.

One thing he did tell me was that people should dress nicely - there were people there who looked very casual or even dirty, and that does not help you with the officials. Also as many others have said, don\'t pay attention to the people who hang around near the consulate and tell you to go with them and they\'ll arrange your papers. Ignore them & don\'t go with them. Get in line early - he went early both for the medical and the interview, and there were people ahead of him even though he arrived well before the doors opened.

He stayed at the Hotel Conquistador and was happy with it. They were very inexpensive - I made the reservation and p... read complete review
