We Flew in from Tijuana on Volaris direct flight. We arrived at the airport at 0730 pm and before picking up our baggage Clinica Medica Internacional has a booth inside the arrival area of the airport and checked us in for tomorrows medical exam then we took a shuttle to Hotel Lucerna. We liked Lucerna because they have them in Mexicali and Tijuana and we've always been treated well and the best thing was the breakfast buffet was already included as well as shuttle transportation to the medical exam and appointment interview. (Lucerna is one of the few 4 star hotel in all of Juarez and is 20 minutes away from the consulate)

We got up got ready had breakfast at the buffet. The hotel shuttle drove us to the Medical exam at Clinica Medica Internacional. We checked and waited to be called. They have a lot chairs and they move along each chair so it's almost like playing musical chairs all along. The first building is the main... read complete review

They were very polite and helpful. My wife had a great experience. Everyone was so nice. It wasn't what i was expecting. I'm so glad we can finally go back to California together.

After being delayed for the 1 year ban my husband has finally been approved! javascript:emoticon(' ')
His first trip to CDJ we stayed at the Ibis hotel. The second day he did his fingerprints and medical exam. After 2 days he had his interview where he was given a blue sheet stating that he would have to re do his medical exam 1 year after his first exam date.
We tried contacting the consulate several times during the year to find out what he'd have to do in order to go prepared and not waste a trip. They always said the exact thing on the blue sheet and were no help. I sought out others with similar situations and they had actually been told what they needed to do.
Fo our case since it would have been 1 year since his interview he had to re do the DS 260 before going and pay the fee in person. Just in case I re did the forms and gave him the new taxes to take.
He did his medical exam at medicos de ... read complete review

INTERVIEW
First watch out for the coyotes who offer to help you with papers or with fingerprints. Not legit-just predators. You already paid for your fingerprints! Don’t let them handle your papers or you might need to pay to get those papers back. If you have questions ask at the consulate.
Our medical review is listed separately.
The interview process: He got on the line early (about 730 for an 8:15 appointment) and they let you enter. I couldn’t stand on line with him, so waited at Plaza Nicole. On the line they check passport, DS-160 confirmation page (if fiancé visa) and the letter that was Packet 3 (the one that says you can’t enter without this paper). The line moves quickly up to outside windows where they take those papers and the sealed black medical envelope. If you have those 4 things ready this will be easier.
He said having all the papers (2 full binders) in plastic sheets was difficult and it would have been easier to have... read complete review
