Everything was so fast! I spent there 1h. Everything good, although security stage is a bit chaotic and confusing.

Haven't posted throughout this process, 2 years since I petitoned for my wife, though this site has helped me tremendously with so many questions I had. So just wanted to leave a review and maybe help someone as scared about the interview as we were.
And it is scary, no matter how much you prepare. The whole week was emotionally draining.
Her interview was on Thursday, February 20, our 2 year anniversary ironically. The wait for the interview was so long (a year) that her police report expired after we recieved the interview letter, but before her interview. So we needed a new one on short notice. It took her sister bullying someone on the phone to get an appointment in Puebla (where she's from) a couple days before leaving for Juarez, and we were glad she did. I know there's an office in Juarez where you can get one, but just having as few things as possible to handle when you're there is helpful.
We arrived on Monday before her interview. ... read complete review

The officer that interviewed my husband did not seem to understand Spanish very well and so he questioned my husband repeatedly about an old arrest. After he repeated it a few times, the officer asked him to "say it differently", but our lawyer had said to be sure you're saying the same thing each time, so my husband didn't understand what he was supposed to say differently about the incident. The officer gave him a 221g form and requested more records regarding that arrest. Those were sent back within 3 days and showed received at the consulate the following Tuesday, and no action has been taken for over 7 days. There were other people there that interviewed and were missing original documents, and they were approved immediately. It doesn't seem wise to have someone working in Juarez that doesn't understand Spanish.

My fiance's 1st interview was on January 4th, 2019. After that, on May 2019, they sent back his passport and requested more income and work evidence from him and also a letter from my that I still have intention to marry him, he sent all of this right away along with his passport. On October 2019, they send back again his passport and requested another letter from me to verify that I still have the intention to marrie him. We sent all this right away. 2 weeks ago (January 20th, 2020), he got back his passport with more instructions to schedule a new appointment for a 2nd interview in Cd Juarez consulate. It is scheduled for April 2020.
