Absolutely horrible experience! The interview is now 2 parts. First part is basically checking documents to see if everything is there. My husband was given a slip of paper stating all documents were there and given a blue pass to go back the next interview process at 7:45 am. This is when everything went downhill. The officer asked for documents that were not included in the list of documents necessary. Example was asking for original divorce decree papers for the petitioner instead of the applicant and also the original birth certificate of the petitioner instead of the applicant and then asked for the Mexican passport for the petitioner who only has a US passport and when my husband tried to explain all this the officer would not reply to him and denied my children and there was nobody else we could speak to at the consulate in person or by phone.
