First, our application package is about 2-1/2 inches thick chock full of every conceivable piece of documentary evidence of our relationship, copies of George's passport with nearly 10 pages of stamps from seeing me; translations, pictures, medical, police records from everywhere imaginable, etc. With that said, the interview in Nairobi went very smoothly as the officer quickly flipped through our documents, they only asked how and where we met.

Then he said that everything looked good and he would issue my fiance a visa.

He then said the visa would take about 10 days to process. We explained that my fiance is from Uganda and needed to get back to work. We could not afford another trip to Kenya. We then asked him very nicely if he could expedite the... read complete review
