My interview was scheduled for 7.30 am, but somehow it took place at 10.30 am!!! It wasn't a pleasant experience to have to sit out in the freezing weather, shivering the whole time, despite being warmly dressed.
Anyway, at the first counter I went to I was asked some simple questions by a lady who wouldn't stop smiling sheepishly, lol
1. Have you ever been to the US?
2. Have you ever been denied a visa?
3. Have you ever been married before?
Second counter, they took my biometrics.
Third counter...actual interview by a blonde lady who was apparently in a really good mood
Questions asked:
1. Who is petitioning for you?
2. How did you meet?
3. Do you have children together? (I say "no but very soon", she smiles)
4. When did he come to Kenya?
5. How long was he here for?
6. Do you have any photos of you together? (I hand over a very well-done photo album wi... read complete review

It went fairly well. Wife was asked just a few questions.
When did you get married?
Where does your husband work?
How often do you speak to your husband?
She was then approved and handed a green slip as she describes it.

All in all our experience at the US embassy in Nairobi was great compared to what we anticipated to run into. My wife's interview was at 7.15am so we decided that she gets there at 5.30AM to be among the first in line. she Arrived at 5AM but there were people already lined up. at around 6AM they called people that had interviews between 6 and 7 AM. It didnt matter if you were in front of the line or not. At 6.50AM they called in those that had interview between 7 and 8 AM which inluded my wife. when she got in a kenyan lady asked her a fe questions and took her appointment letter. Then gave her a number after which she moved on to the next lady who was also kenya. The lady took her finger prints and asked her to wait to be called to the window. After a while she was called to the window by a nice lady who asked her a few questions without looking at any evidence even though my wife was well prepared since I had frontloaded the evidence. The CO returned the original marriage certificate... read complete review

I went through the first security gate and qued at the second gate for around 1hr before they could allow us in by the time we were allowed in we found many people already in. I was given my no.c422 and asked to wait for my turn, was then called in by a kenyan lady who asked for two photos.and asked me the following questions
