My husband had his interview on the 9th of August and they approved him, kept his document and told him he needed to submit additional paperwork. They interrogated him about everything under the sun. We turned in the additional paperwork on the 22nd of August and they finally issued his visa. They orocess is very slow there and frustrating. But tv be prepared to answers everything.

We arrived really early. Waited across the street until our time was called. Fiancé forgot a doc however was able to print across the street. We were one of the last for our time so among the last to interview. I think 12 or so before we walked out. They asked him only a few questions.
If he was ever married, ever arrested, and how we met.
She asked me the rest:
Do I have any kids, 1 which is his. And if I fly for free.
I asked her if he would be able to return with me that same week and she handed him a slip to allow him to come back Friday to pick up his visa. Very smooth.

Went to the embassy for my interview today. Interview was at 8:30, got there at about 8:05 was in through the door at about 8:30 but had to go back outside because my fitness watch wasn't allowed. Also, makeup, lip gloss stuff like that not allowed. Basically dont walk with anything! The people across the road will hold stuff for you for all of $500! So just don't bother. Luckily I parked close by so I just took it to my car. $500 really? I had to rejoin the line btw.(sucked)
They asked me the same questions they asked everyone else, and you can hear all the questions being asked of everyone else.
- who is filing for you
- have you ever travelled outside of Jamaica (If yes, where, what was the longest you stayed in those places)
-Have you ever been arrested
The questions specific to my case- I only got asked 2
-When did my husband go to the US
-How did we meet.
They asked for my original birth certificat... read complete review

MY FIANCE STATED THAT IT WAS AN OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE. HE WAS LAST TO BE SEEN BECAUSE SOMEONE MISPLACED HIS FILE, BUT HE FELT IT WAS FOR GOOD REASON, AS HE WAS ABLE TO GET THE VISA SOONER THAN USUAL, BECAUSE OUR SON HAS TO START SCHOOL NEXT WEEK. HE WAS BASICALLY ASKED, WHERE WE MET, HOW LONG AGO WE MET, WHAT I DO FOR A LIVING, DO I HAVE A CHILD, AND WHERE I STUDIED.

Hello all ! I just received my application acceptance text and emailâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
I am so elated despite that this is just the beginning!
This is one emotional roller coaster, and I am happy to be able to meet my soulmate !
Is there any women out there that has completed the k1 visa process successfully and could provide feed back , I would kindly appreciate the link up! And if there is anyone who had to receive a Canadian police clearance certificate for their fiancé please enlighten me on how to retrieve it ! Especially when my fiancé is living in Jamaica but used to live in Canada , and we need to order the certificate somehow , however I'm not sure how 😧😬😇
