My appointment at the Kingston Embassy was for 7:00. I reach there around 6:45 or so,line wasn't long though. I was asked for the appointment letter, passport and pictures with name written on the back.I made pass security, make sure u dont have wear any belts and have certain items with u.I followed where everyone was going, made it to a desk where we hand in our appointment letter, only front page, got my number and went inside to sit....long story short did fingerprinting two times, first one when submitting any other documents then actual interview.
Questions asked
Who's filing for u?
Name of the person filing for u?
Do ur dad and step mom live together?
What is the occupation for ur dad and step mom?
How often u saw ur dad?
When last did u see him?
How long has he been married?
And so
I answered to my best knowledge...apparently I need to submit tax return for my step mom so he wrote up on the white paper sa... read complete review

My fiancé had a 9:30 aopt. he arrive 1hr prior and the entire process commenced by 11:39am. He stated the counselor only asked 5 simple questions; 3 about me i.e. Where I work, what does he love about me etc. then our wedding plans. The entire interview was filled with smiles and laughter, he jokingly said he wanted to stay longer and chat about our love story even after she stated he got approved. We are just soo blessed and happy this part of our Journey is over FYI BE sure to carry $5-800 JA dollars just in case you need someone to secure your belongings outside the embassy for example a cell phone

We arrived exactly at our appointment time which was 9am. We did not have to make a line outside, so they let us right in. My fiance had to leave his cel phone and keys outside with some people who hold items for 500 JMD.
Once we walked through security, we were given a number and waited for several hours until we were called.
They first called us to window#14 and were asked for Passport, Certificate of no-impediment (or results letter from RGD), Divorce certificates for both of us since we were both married before, Birth Certificate, Police certificate, Affidavit of Support I-134 plus supporting docs (I submitted most recent tax return, job letter, and paystubs from the last month). They did not ask for additional proof of relationship. They made my fiance sign a letter that states if we marry before entering the US, he will not be granted a K1.
After that, we went back to have a seat and waited for about 2 more hours. The consular offic... read complete review

Ok I am so happy to post my husband's review because reading reviews on here was extremly helpful to us!
His Interview was on Sepetember 26th at 7:30am he got there around 6:50am.
There were two lines 7am line and 7:30am line. The security guard asked him for the interview letter and passport then checked his name off the list.
He waited in the line for about 15-20 mins then proceeded through security.
He saw that there we two sections one section for non-immigrant and another further down for was for immigrants. He went down the hall and the first desk he saw was a woman sitting there and she took the interview letter and gave him the DHL instruction form. He didn't need to fill out the form because we already signed up for DHL online, but the form is very important because it had a number written on there. She told him to have a seat and wait for the number to be called.
Now he is in the waiting area for the immigrant... read complete review
