We arrived about 8:30am for a 10:00am interview appointment
The place was packed. We got called up to the window
The first time about 10:30a, she did take all our documents.
About 30 minutes later another lady called us to her window
She was very sweet. She asked us where we met, asked how
We felt about each other. Asked me how many kids I have,
Asked my fiancé what he did for a living. She then said everything
Looks good but that my fiancé needed to get a new birth certificate
Because his was faded and some words you couldn’t see
She then said after I receive birth certificates i will issue visa.

Interview was short and easy. I made sure all documents were clearly labeled, as I was unable to attend the interview with my mom. As always, be prepared and organized and be confident!

Comments : Interview was on January 5th 2018. Interview went well. Lasted about 5 mins or less but the wait was long. It was very conversational and lots of laughing. Was asked how we met, what was the longest I stayed in the US, if I travelled to other countries and if I stayed over 6 months, where did we get married.
My hubby was present at the interview. The consular officer said that she really liked that my husband was there as this was a first and she hopes more husbands would attend. She has seen wives attend but never husbands.

I arrived at the embassy at 6:40am for my 7am appointment. We had a bit of a snag because when we went in and we're checked off I was sent back out because I had my asthma inhaler in my bag which is prohibited (I never knew).
I was called to window 5 at 7:50am to submit my passport picture, passport, birth certificate and copy of my marriage certificate. She gave me a pamphlet to read about spousal abuse while we waited. We watched other people go to the windows repeatedly until we were called by name to window number 7. My heart was at my mouth lol. My husband held my hand while rubbing my back the entire time, we even chuckled about how he knew i was nervous while standing at the window. The gentleman that interview us was very polite.
