My husbands interview was Friday April 6th at 7:15 am. We arrived about 6:30 and joined the line (spouse petitioners are allowed) all ladies should be advised that there are so many things from your purse not allowed inside, this includes cell phones, make up, compact mirrors, certain ink pens, inhalers...ect. so basically all that I had in my purse was money/credit cards and ID. Once inside you are given a paper with a number and you wait for it to be called. Once called to the window, you will be asked for your original documents and copies that were given to NVC and documents that were requested from you (if any) the first CO will take the documents and ask a few "pre interview questions" My husband was asked who is calling for you? Is this your first marriage? Is this your wife's first marriage? We were then asked to be seated and wait to be called again. The second time you are called up by name. Once at the window the man asked was I the spouse petitioner? And asked us to raise... read complete review

My fiance's interview was 3/27 at 10:00 am. He got there early. He said he waited about 45 minutes. He said the interview went quickly and the lady that interviewed him was Pleasant and organized. He was asked about my daughter, what I did for a living, what our wedding plans were and if we had enough time to get them done. She asked if his family would be able to attend the wedding. He was asked where we met. The total of the interview lasted about 15 minutes. They took his passport and told him he'd get an email in a couple of weeks.
He didn't print the correct I-134 that I sent him so I had to email it to the consulate afterward, which stressed me out but hopefully that won't delay us too long.
Another of our Visa journey members had their interview at the same time and saw him there, which was really cool to be able to tell him afterward. I love having this comradery.

Arrived at 8 30 for 10am appointment. The staff was polite and courteous...they checked to make sure we had all the required documents b4 letting us in. After getting inside, we were given a processing number to listen for. When we hear our number, we go put to the window n they take our documents. We were then directed to sit and listen for name.
When name was called , we went to another window and the interview started. Mine lasted about 5mins.... CO was stern yet polite.
He asked basic questions like:
Who Filing
What does my fiance n i do for a living
How we met and when is the wedding.
***make sure u have all your documents!
