So my fiancé left Westmorland at 2:30am for her 10am interview. The driver took forever making multiple stops, getting gas and food. She finally arrived at 12pm. She stood on a line and when she showed her interview confirmation page the security guard told her she is late for her appointment and he has to call his supervisor. The supervisor came outside and my fiancé explained to her she is coming from far and the bus took a long time to arrive. The supervisor took pity and allowed her to go inside. It is true what everyone says, if you don't have all your documents don't bother going to the embassy, you're only wasting your time & money because they are going to send you away. My fiancé said she saw quite a few people turned away for missing papers. My fiancé said the officer who interviewed her was kind and polite. He didn't ask many questions.
Where did you meet?
What is my son's name?
Who do I live with?
When & where are we getting married?... read complete review

We got there early but could not enter until right before. They are very organized both inside the embassy and the people outside. Like what many of the posts said they take all your papers and have you sit back down to wait before they call you up again for the real part of the interview.
The whole time we listened to other interviews and they did not go so well. They either did not have enough proof to show that they were in a real relationship or could not describe their relationship/ why they are in it.
We got called up our interview and he was asked my name, siblings names, my job, how did we meet, when did we get in a relationship and who my best friends were. It helped that I was there because he was nervous and I could help with filling in the blanks. It helped that we used to live together. The CO approved us and told us we could pick up the visa 7 days later.
I would say he was one of maybe 4 people dressed with a tie and all. M... read complete review

My fiance's interview was scheduled for 10am but we arrived to the Embassy at 8:30am. The Embassy allows you to line up based on your appointment time so because we were there early, we had to wait across the street. The locals are out there selling chairs to sit in and lockers to lock up your belongings however my fiance had a friend who was there for a interview so we locked up our things in his car. At 9:30am, we were called over to line up at the embassy. The security asked to see our passports, interview confirmation page and DS-160 cinfirmation page. MAKE SURE TO NOT BRING ANY ELECTRONICS, LIQUIDS, LIP GLASS, CHAPSTICK....it's best to just come with your passport and documents needed for the interview. After walking into the embassy, we had to stand in another line inside the courtyard where there are chairs but because we filed for an immigrant visa we were told to wait in line. We were called up by another security officer who checked our interview confirmation page and then ga... read complete review

Arrived at facility at 8:30 AM,line was out the door got in about 10 mins to 9 AM. The wait time was about 4 hrs until we got our interview. But I must say we was fortunate to have nice tall white lady that wears glasses. We was both sworn in,then only asked about 3-4 questions. How did we met, what kind of work I do (petitioner),the ages of my children, and how many times I traveled to Jamaica since I met my husband. My husband seemed kind of shy,so I took over the interview. She also said that our folder was well put together. My advice is the make sure you have all your paperwork requested by the embassy or NVC.
Finally my husband will be in the USA it was worth the wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Mr. arrived at 9 am for a 10 am interview and was told he wouldn't be allowed to enter until 9:30 am. He did not have any issues entering because his mom went with him and held his phone etc., so all he had was the paperwork need needed for the interview.
Upon entering he got his number and was directed to the waiting area. When his number was called he gave the CO the entire packet that we had compiled. She took the documents they need and handed it back the rest to him (we were super prepared). He was then directed to the fingerprint section where his fingerprint was taken. He was the directed to sit and wait his turn, basically. Windows 7 thru 12 were the interview windows ( he said the CO at window 7 gave mostly denials and window 9 CO seems nicer, so he was happy the got number 9).
After about 45 minutes wait he was called up and was grilled, he was asked roughly 15 questions. The questions included
- how we met
-my son's name
-my... read complete review
