hi guys, I did my interview yesterday at the embassy. I had a 7:15am interview I arrived at 6:40. Parking is a bit more helpful with the guys along the road even though it comes at a fee. We had to stand across from the embassy on a median which was a bit inconvenient for me due to the fact I have the flu and it was raining on and off. Around 7:15 we were called to line up and go through security at this point have your interview letter and passport out Its best to only have your paperwork and money with you or you will be told to go back outside and get rid of all prohibited items(pens, cell phones, makeup, etc). She took my original birth certificate and police certificate then told to sit and wait for my name to be called. I waited for l... read complete review

Good Day
I am would like to know. I got married in the US 7 months ago and received my marriage certificate from the state I got married in. I am the beneficiary but on return to Jamaica, I am wondering if I also have to get a marriage certificate from Jamaica as well?
What do I need to do in Jamaica?

The interview was scheduled for 10am. He arrived early due to him traveling from Montego Bay and not sure if the bus will leave on time. He stated that it was extremely crowed so he had to wait until his appointment time to be displayed for him to entered into the building. He was instructed to provide all documentation and then was instructed to go to another area for the actual interview. He stated that you were able to hear everyone's interview b/c of how they have it set up. He made sure to listen to each question and answer the question as if he was taking the interview. He did say that he noticed some people were unprepared and the lady was giving them 20+ questions. He was thankful he didn't have her. He was instructed to a window with a white male. The following questions were asked: Where did we meet? What hotel did I stay at when I first visited? Do I have any children? Who lives with me? Has he every been to court? What did I give him for his birthday? What did he give me f... read complete review

My house key Has a little pen attached to it I was told my security to get rid of it so I had to leave embassy all mess up belt in my had to find the lady with my bag to give her the pen....
