Our appointment was at 7 am we got there 5:30 AM we waited across the street Paid $100 JMD to sit ..we made sure that we didn’t bring any items that did not belong an embassy such as pens liquid products phones electronics thumb drives etc..we were the first one in the line however 4 people were able to go in front of us we had the 4th number however numbers like 18 and 20 were being called before us the first window it was a woman she called us up to show our documents she asked for a police report for my 16-year-old his birth certificate and my marriage certificate uh oh!! it was NOT in my file I mistakenly left it in the US ...at this time I was very upset with myself but the young lady made me feel better and put me at ease and just told me that she would make an appointment for me following Tuesday to bring the document in and I could go to the local office to get a copy. Spent the night in Kingston. Got to embassy at 830am. Got let in at 930am for 10am interview
Collected: confirmation letter, ds160, tax transcripts, financial form, original divorce decree, mon impediment, police record, 2 passport photos, birth certificate
We got the mean guy. He was intense
Didn’t chit chat and spent a lot of time looking paperwork
1. How did you meet? (I answered)
2. What do you do for work (both of us)
3. Do you have kids (both of us)
4. Been married (both of us)
5. Brining your child to USA (him)
Approved. I asked if we could get early. He said yes. We pick up in 2 days (Thursday). He comes home Saturday â¤ï¸ðŸ’¯
Just got to Montego Bay. Exhausted but good
Standing at interview window a good 30 mins
