Appointment was for 9:00am on October 15th. Arrived approx 40 mins early, and was told to come back in half an hour so I returned at 8:50am and went through the usual security procedures.
Dont bring laptops/ipads etc, there is no space to leave them. went through airport type security procedures, and put my phone and keys into the small locker and was given the key along with a visitor badge on a lanyard.
Entered the main building and was 3rd in line to meet the first officer to go through documents. This went very smoothly, They asked to see:
Marriage license/cert
My longform birth cert
My passport
My police certificate
Confirmation of my intended US address (this had changed since my application and he just changed it for me no problem)
I had 2 copies of everything along with lots of other documentation but they were not required. (I would still bring them as you never know when they might just h... read complete review

Interview appointment was at 8am. I arrived outside the embassy at around 7.45 and there was already a queue. They let people in two at a time, checked our passports and went through a security scanner. They locked my phone into a little locker and I was able to take my small handbag in with me along with my documents. I queued inside and gave my name to the Irish staff member behind the window. She told me to sit and wait for my name to be called. We were all called in order of how we arrived in. I was called again by the same staff member, asked to produce my passport, birth cert, police certificate, photographs, medical results and my fiancé’s financial I-134. After this I was asked to sit to be called for interview. The interviewer was so friendly and approachable, he asked to tell him about my fiancé, and when did we decide to get married. He approved me then and there. Overall it was an extremely positive experience, all of the staff were extremely friendly and hel... read complete review

Obviously very happy with the outcome as my visa was approved on the day.
I had my interview on July 16th, 2019. I had previously read some reviews on the Embassy in Dublin so I knew what to expect but what I found was different to those I had read. Here is my experience - perhaps it will help someone else.
I arrived 45 minutes early and spoke to security officers at the gate - they asked that I come back 15 minutes before the interview time as the embassy was closed for lunch. I returned and joined a queue of people to the right of the gate. Here they take you in one by one, inspect your bag, empty water bottles, take your phone to put in the lockbox, and pass through a metal detector. They give you a lanyard with the key to the box.
From here I walked up the ramp to a door at the side of the building. Here I passed another detector. The officer there asked if I was here for a visa or an interview and what time. I was directed to join th... read complete review

The interview was very straight forward. Initially gave all my documents to someone to review and make sure I had everything I needed then waited about 15 minutes before being called up to the window for my interview. I was asked how we met, asked about where I intended to move to, what my fiance worked at and the interviewer looked over some photos.
