The interview was scheduled for 12:30 pm at the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta (there are 2 so make sure you go to the right one). My fiance joined me and we were the third in line. There was a slight delay and we weren't able to enter until 12:50 pm. The Guards and people at the security point were friendly though, and there weren't many people in line.
I was called to window 7 not long after entering the building where the interview will take place. The woman behind the counter was not very friendly and seemed to be a bit impatient, but as long as you have all your documents and organized, there shouldn't be any issues. She took the documents needed and handed the rest back to me. I then continued to window 5 to pay the K-1 visa fee, very nice lady btw, and then went back to window 7 to give her the receipt.
After almost 3 hours I was called into the room 1 for the interview. I was interviewed by a woman. They asked me the following questions :

Tips:
1. Bring a copy of your interview email
2. Double check that your birth cert information matches your passport
3. Don't forget to translate your birth cert and bring the original and a copy.
Our interview was at 12:30pm. We showed up at 12:00 to get in line, but we didn't actually wait in line at first so someone who was there after us got ahead of us, but it's ok. There were only 4 people total waiting. We were 3rd.
You will first be checked by the guard, they will want to see your letter of invitation and your IDs. I went in with my fiance so I had to show mine as well. I only had my US drivers license because my passport was being processed at Immigrasi for my exit permit. This was not a problem. They asked for his KTP, but he showed them his passport and this was fine as well.
Next you enter a room where you put all your things through a detector. You cannot have a phone, kindle, cable, usb, or anything elec... read complete review

I arrived at USEM at 12:20 and my appointment was at 12:30. Line was not long and the security guy gave me a small tray to put my electronic devices for security check inside. All the securities were nice. Checked all my bags and stuffs, left my phone and then walked into waiting room.
There were only 5 interviews for immigrant visa today so the waiting wasn't that bad and I also made new friends. When I got in I had to give some additional documents that embassy had asked through email to Indonesian lady at counter no 7. She was nice to me. Just make sure you put every document, clip them together and just gave them all to the lady. I waited for another 1.5 hours till I finally got called into counter 1, a small room with a window/glass as separator between me and the officer. CO was beautiful white lady and she was so nice. Then I did my fingerprint and oath.
The interview itself was pretty fast and went for about 12-15 mins. I couldn't tell precisely c... read complete review

We think the IV section at US embassy in Jakarta worked efficiently. They responded to our emails swiftly.
When she first received packet 4 on Sep 1 (she requested for the soonest interview schedule possible), they told her that her interview would be on Sep 22. But on Sep 9, on the way to work she got a call from the embassy offered her to reschedule her interview to Sep 10, since there's an empty slot (someone's rescheduling their interview). She totally agreed with joy!
She got 12.30 pm interview appointment. She was the first one on the line and got done with all the proccess around 2 pm. Approved! Yay!
For those who will come to the K-1 interview, please make sure you read all the instruction carefully. Please bring all the original requested docs with you (not the scanned printed ones) especially the I-134 and its supporting docs and bring enough proof of relationship, such as photos (pictures tell a lot).
... good luck... read complete review
