It was very easy not hard as I thinked. Staff is very helpfull. English man questioned me for 10 minutes. He was speak in hindi english and punjabi. He
asked me lot of question like. Who is your in
usa? What he is doing? What he likes? How u meet each other? How u comnicate each other? What is his mphone number? When he was come to india and, when he was go? Where he lived when he was
in India? How many people attended the marrriage? Had your mother in law attendded the marriage? Is this your second marriage for both of you? Where his previous wife? ? With whome she living ? Have your husband any child? How old he is? With whome he is living? Have u marriage pictures? Show me.
At last he said congratulations you are approved.
Advice: you do not need to worry if your relation is true and u know every thing for each other..

NEED HELP & ADVICE

I didn't know that there was such a thing called Visa Journey. I am at the near end of acquiring my GC.

So the embassy reviews from Mumbai, India ask for the petitioner & benefitaries mother's maiden name. My husband accidentally wrote down their current last names which are different from maiden names. Luckily he had the copies which he had initially submitted to USCIS.

So my question is should we submit a new G 325 A form for both of us and type up a letter explaining the confusion or would it cause more problems to our case. Because we do not want to falsify or misinterpret any information.

If some of you can comment on it that will be great because my interview is next week.

Interview was a smooth and easy process.
We stayed at Trident Hotel in Bandra Kurla just meters away from the embassy.
It was rainy season then so we decided that closer we were the better.
We went to the embassy at 7am for a 7:30 appointment. The lined were formed at 7 and we were let in around 7:20. There was a security check. I had no problems there as I was not carrying and CD or coins or any other restricted items.
I was the first one to complete security and get into the line for the token.
I had to sit for around 5 mins after the token which an Indian Officer called me . The questions were routine
Where did you meet him
Hace you traveled to the US before etc
Another 15 mins wait while I read the domestic voilence pamphlet and the American CO called me. It was a very easy interview.
I read the oath and then she asked me where I mer my husband, and when the last time was tat I met him
..... she said approved... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiancée had her visa interview on 07/18. It was a very good experience though it took about couple of hours.

Her appointment was 9:15. She reached there by 8:45. As expected, she was told she cannot carry cell phones inside. She left everything with her dad and she went in.

Immigrant visa has a separate short line. She was asked to go to an Indian officer first who took all the documents - DS 160, approval notice, photographs and affidavit of support. They asked for the tax transcript in support of the affidavit. They did not ask for any proof of relationship surprisingly, though we were prepared with a ton of documentation. Questions asked:
1. What is your name ? DOB ?
2. Who is calling you ? name please ?
3. How long do you know each other ?
4. Is it a remarriage for both of you ?
5. What happened to your prev marriage ? (both)
6. Date and reason for divorce(both)
7. Your phone no ?
8. Are you... read complete review
