Hi all, I had interview today at 7.30 am. I went there by 6.45 am. I was told to be in queue. At 7.45 we were allowed to go inside. Then security check is done. Then I was told to stay in queue in single applicants queue. I got token number. I waited almost 20 minutes. Then Indian lady called me and asked few general questions. Then she gave me domestic violence pamphlet to read. Then after 20 minutes my turn came for interview.
First I had to take oath then they started interview.
1. Who is calling you
2. What does she do
3. How did you meet
4. Show wedding pictures
That's it. Then he asked whether I understood phamphlet.
Then magical words came, your visa application is approved.
Don't worry guys. They are so cooperative.
Just bring proper documents.

went smooth . got approved on dec 1, received my visa on dec 4th
If you are honest and truthful you will be heard. Consular officers are just doing their job, they respect honesty and approve genuine cases.
dont compare your experiences with anyone's . Speak your truth. you deserve to be with your love. your truth deserves to be heard. good luck.

The interview was okay. I was asked to take the oath, fingerprints. General questions about how me and my husband met, how many people were present at our wedding, why did we have such a small wedding. I answered, we had 2 big receptions. Then I was asked about my biomedical career in SIngapore - my exact area of work.
After that, the officer said 'everything looks good, I just need a few things like your resume and travel details for the last 10 years to be sent on email'. I was issued a letter, which looked like a 221G, but didn't say that anywhere. It asked for my professional details, and my travel details. It also asked for the 'purpose of my US visit' - here I front loaded my response with details of our marriage, our photos with our families, our frequent travel visits to see each other.
After 5 weeks of administrative processing after the interview, we finally got a letter by post, asking me to submit my passport at VFS. I got back my stamped pas... read complete review

It was a very pleasant experience.
We reached the embassy by 6:30 am, we (myself and my son) were asked to form line by 06:45, sent inside by 07:15, we were through the security clearance with in 10 min.
(Note: carry your documents in a transparent or see-through file)
We were sent inside the embassy building and were asked to form line for single and multiple applicants for tokens.
There was a long wait (around 30 min) before my token was displayed. Our token displayed at counter no 13 and an Indian took the medicals , ds260, our passport and arranged in them in order and asked us to wait.
After another 30 min our token was displayed again at counter no 2, there an Indian lady asked us few questions like;
What is your mother's maiden surname?
When and where did u marry u r husband?
What is your Ex husband's surname?
Asked about Permanent address to deliver the green card and she gave us a pamphle... read complete review
