It was a good interview. The Consular was friendly. He asked some general questions and checked my documents, pictures, chat and call history. At the end, he smiled at me and said that I was approved and he congratulates me for my marriage. The interview took around 10 minutes. Overall it was good. I am so very happy.

Our interview was at 8 AM and we were out by 11:10. We reached there at 7:43 AM and went right in. The actual interview only lasted about 3 minutes. We are an interracial couple with a 14 year age difference (me being elder). We also eloped with only 2 friends at the wedding because we didn't think his parents would approve (we have since told them and they are cool). The interviewer didn't ask about either of these things. He only asked how we met (at work. My company sent me to train his team. When I returned to the US, he would message me with work questions and we would then start talking personally). We also have a 2 year old son and most of the questions were about him. The interviewer wanted to see pics of our wedding, pics of the 2 times I brought our son to India, and our son's birth certificate and passport (he was currently at the hotel with my husband's sister). My husband was then told he was approved. It was a great experience.

*this is from my fiance's review* He was the beneficiary in India.

Arrival: He arrived very early at 7:00am for 8:30am appointment. There was a long queue of people. But he got into the Immigrant line.

Documents check: The only minor issue was that his birth certificate was not an original. And was very old. So they asked him if he had a High School certificate that would show his age. Thankfully be brought that and they accepted it.

Interview: He was interviewed by a young white male looking to be in his mid 30s.

He said the interviewer smiled and was very friendly. He said it actually felt like a conversation more than an interview. It lasted 30-35 mins. We only met once so maybe that's the reason for the lengthy interview time.

1. What is your fiance's name and birthday
2. How did you meet? (We met through dating app) He asked which one? Tinder ? OKCupid? Then he smiled and said he's heard of those a... read complete review

My fiance had his interview Oct 27th 2016! And we were APPROVED!!! here's how it went and what they asked for those also interviewing in New Delhi:

He arrived only 10 mins before his appointment due to traffic.
The first counter they took some of his documents and gave him a token number.
The second counter they took his passport and i-134 papers. They did ask for the ORIGINAL i-134 and we had scans of everything due to unreliable mail there. A group of 4 of them talked amongst themselves and finally accepted the papers the way they were. Do yourself a favor and mail originals!
The third counter was the consular for the interview!
He had a young american woman probably in her late 20s.
She asked a LOT of questions despite us front loading as much proof as we could. I think because we have only met once, so fair enough.

Questions asked:
whats her full name and birthday?
How did you meet?
Is it arranged... read complete review
