10 minute wait time until the first employee called me and asked to review and reorganize my documents before giving them to the consular officer.
20 minutes later, the consular officer called me to his window. He was very friendly the whole time. Asked me only a few basic questions: who is the petitioner, when did we get married, when did we meet, do we live together, what does she do for a living, what do I do for a living, have I traveled to the US before, when, where, and for how long I stayed. After these questions he said “everything is in order, except we’re still waiting for the clinic to send your medical results, but I have no doubt those will be fine.â€
I was sent back to the first employee to collect my documents and that was it!

Everything went well, the interview was really a formality. They suggested we redo the medical (and we did), because the visa validity is counted from the exams' date and it was too long ago, there wouldn't have been enough time left to travel. We had to drop the passport and the new medical off later for stamping in the immigrant visa.
Other than that, it was a breeze.

My husband arrived on time for his interview. The process was quick, he was in and out within the hour, only one person ahead of him. The Embassy/Consulate personnel were friendly. They asked about 10 questions and reviewed the documents he brought. They said everything looks great and he can pick up his visa in a week.
