I want to share my experience as someone with tattoos from the medical appointment to my appointment at the embassy. I have my arm and leg completely tattooed with a cover up of a tattoo that I didn't like. I called to scheduled my medical appointment on November, 3rd and it was scheduled with Dr. Fernándo Valerio for November, 15th and 16th. X-rays and laboratory were done on the first day and vaccines and physical exam on the second day. I spent 8,938 lempiras for x- rays, laboratory, physical exam and 4 vaccines. At the physical exam, I was asked what is the meaning of every tattoo and although I had a cover up they did not check it with an ultraviolet light as some people suspect. It is worth mentioning that I brought a certificate letter from the tattoo shop I had my tattoos done. I called the doctor on December, 5th to confirm that my exams had been sent to the embassy. My appointment was December, 8th at 8:15am. I had everything organized in a dark blue filing folder, but secur... read complete review

Process for IR5 visa was smooth, all documents were requested at rhe door and the whole process from entrance to exit was done in around 30-40 min. The consul was very friendly and respectful. Visa was approved and in 4 days the passport was ready for pick up at the Puerto Cortes office.

The embassy has been very difficult to contact or receive any kind of answers or support from. However, the interview process was very seamless and quick. We showed up about 45 minutes prior to the interview and waited outside. We couldn't bring any devices with us, and I was not allowed to attend the interview with my husband. Once he was called in, he was out in about 20 minutes.

My husband interview was at 9:15am he got there at 9am. He said, that they took his biometrics and he waited a few minutes. They only asked him 2 questions, 1.) how we met 2.) how many kids we have. They requested pictures and returned them back. They gave him a slip that said "felicidades su visa fue aprobada" and told him to wait for his passport to arrive at the Cargo Expreso he selected. He was out at 9:30am.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

I dont even know where to start. We arrived at 7:15. Our appointment was at 7:30. Now the petitioner is not allowed to enter for interview because of covid. He was the first to be called. It was very empty because they are not processing visas at this time. They said it will take about 4 hours for first time applying for a visa. So I went back with his sister to her house. Around 9:30 we received a call for me to come to the embassy for a interview. I am caucasian. He is Honduran and does not speak English. the lady called me for a interview alone. She wanted to hold the interview in spanish to see if I can speak spanish. Which I am able to speak spanish but not fluent. She eventually let me have the interview in english. she asked me all the same questions my fiance was asked. How we met. Which was through his sister. She wanted to know if his sister connected us together. Our age is 10 years apart. She wanted to know if there was a problem with it she asked when was the first time ... read complete review
