I got to the embassy on the 25th February at 6:40 am. It was quite a rainy day so I was praying they will let us in before the rains start pouring down again. Exactly 7:00am we were called to form a queue at the entrance. I was quite lucky to be part of the first 10 people to be in the front row so I entired quite early.
I submitted my appointment letter at the desk and i was called by a Ghanaian lady at window 2 to submit all my docs. She was quite friendly, she returned the bank statements and tax transcripts to me. She asked me to go pay an amount of 624 Ghana Cedis to the Cashier which I did.
Please those going there please make sure you have enough loose money so you can get the exact amount. They asked people who didnt have the exact amount to wait while they attended to those with it first.

My husband arrived at the embassy about an hour before his 7:30am interview time. He submitted all his paperwork and then was asked to sit and wait. When he was called the interviewer asked him of my name and then told him congratulations on the arrival of our twins. My husband said he did not ask any more questions but returned back some of his documents and asked him to come back on Friday for his visa. Our case was expedited at USCIS, NVC and then at the embassy due to medical reasons and am so grateful to God for the approval, now my husband can join me and our twins.

I am absolutely glad to update the forums on my wife's visa interview experience at the US Embassy, Accra, Ghana. For starters, the interview was quick and went easily. It also helped a lot that I was present for the interview.
We got to the Embassy gates about 45mins before the appointment time of 7:30am. The in-take and processing of the paperwork was the pain in terms of the wait time.
But when my wife was called to window #4, I could see her heart sink. What we had heard is that, that particular CO is the most difficult to deal with. But I was confident we will get an approval because of how meticulously I had put our paperwork together. To my surprise, he was pleasant and professional. Anyway, the CO said hello and we responded and we also asked him how he was doing. We had our 5-yr old daughter with us, so he asked if that was our daughter. We both responded in the affirmative at the same time. The CO kept reviewing the I-864 and other relationship documents (pictur... read complete review
