I had my interview on the 13/4/22. My son also attended the interview, he’s 5 years.
The officer said he’s going to approve mine but my son will needanother support document from his father before he’s also approved.
I made this mistake, and I have been having sleepless nights after the interview.
The officer asked if he should approve mine now or I will wait till we submit my son’s support documents before he issue for both of us, and I said he should wait for the documents then he issue.
Now am confused, we submitted the documents in the evening the same day after the interview, but we have still not heard from them.
My husband is mad at me that I should have let the consular officer issue mine first. Please has this happened to anyone before. I am over stressing myself with thinking and regrets. Please help

Hubby went for interview and was told that no additional documentation is needed and to await conclusion of administrative processing which took 3 months. I emailed them incessantly and also had a writ of mandamus in place with the courts. Not sure where we would be without it…

Husband says he was asked the following questions:
1. Who petitioned for you?
2. How did you meet?
3. Do you have any children?
4. Do you have the birth certificate for the child?
5. Do you have any photos of you two before you got married?
***. That, the consular officer was approachable & friendly.

My husband arrived early for his interview. US Citizens have protocol so even though he was supposed to start at 8:00. It was a little bit after he was called. They asked for all the original documents :birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate ect. The first officer said she didn’t like his passport photo size. My husband had to get another one. The first and second officer asked these questions:
1)Who petition for you?
2)Where does your wife work and her job title?
3)What is her date of birth?
4) Have you been married before?
5) Has she been married before?
6)How many times did your wife come to Ghana?
7)What were the dates?
8)Where did we meet?
9)Do we have kids?
10) Has he been to the embassy before?
Both officers reviewed all our documents and photographs to show proof of legitimate relationship. My husband said he answered the questions in detail. They gave him the letter to r... read complete review
