After all this waiting and review of our documents on 3/7/14, finally we get our visa. I attending my husband's interview which wasn't much of one. She basically told us since our case was a reaffirmed. There was no other questions to ask and since our paperwork was in ordered. We should pick up on visa on Friday. The most important thing is when you receive your visa and you are married for more than two years, please make sure that Consulate makes a note of that on your visa. My husband and I noticed that and waited an additional four hours to make sure our status from CR-I to IR-1. Just make sure you look at your visa to make sure everything is correct. Other than that everything was good.

I got to the embassy on the 25th February at 6:40 am. It was quite a rainy day so I was praying they will let us in before the rains start pouring down again. Exactly 7:00am we were called to form a queue at the entrance. I was quite lucky to be part of the first 10 people to be in the front row so I entired quite early.
I submitted my appointment letter at the desk and i was called by a Ghanaian lady at window 2 to submit all my docs. She was quite friendly, she returned the bank statements and tax transcripts to me. She asked me to go pay an amount of 624 Ghana Cedis to the Cashier which I did.
Please those going there please make sure you have enough loose money so you can get the exact amount. They asked people who didnt have the exact amount to wait while they attended to those with it first.
Then I was called to window 1 for my finger prints. The Ghanaian lady there was also nice but I could tell she was a strict one. They took fing... read complete review

My husband arrived at the embassy about an hour before his 7:30am interview time. He submitted all his paperwork and then was asked to sit and wait. When he was called the interviewer asked him of my name and then told him congratulations on the arrival of our twins. My husband said he did not ask any more questions but returned back some of his documents and asked him to come back on Friday for his visa. Our case was expedited at USCIS, NVC and then at the embassy due to medical reasons and am so grateful to God for the approval, now my husband can join me and our twins.
